COMMISSION APPROVES ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR PARISH STORM AND TORNADO VICTIMS
The Caddo Parish Commission voted to increase funding available to local storm and tornado victims at a special called meeting of the Commission on August 16.
Ordinance 5789 amends an earlier budget ordinance to provide an additional appropriation of $250,000 from the Reserve Trust Fund for citizens affected by Spring 2018 storms and tornadoes.
The additional funds will continue to be administered by the Caddo Community Action Agency (CCAA) to assist Caddo Parish citizens with need based assistance for food, clothing, tree removal, and some home repairs.
