PARISH OF CADDO ADJUSTS MASK POLICY FOR PARISH FACILITIES
Caddo Parish, LA – In accordance with Governor John Bel Edwards’ latest proclamation, the Parish of Caddo has adjusted its mask policy in parish facilities. Effective immediately, the use of facial masks in parish buildings is recommended, but not required.
This requirement includes all Parish facilities, the Caddo Parish Courthouse, Government Chambers for all Parish of Caddo/Caddo Parish Commission related activities and the 8th floor of Government Plaza.
“Safety will always be our primary concern as we continue to battle COVID-19,” said Caddo Parish Administrator Dr. Woody Wilson, Jr. “While masks are no longer required in parish facilities, we do encourage their use as well as continued social distancing in accordance with CDC recommendations, especially for those who may be at added risk or are not yet fully vaccinated,” said Wilson.
The Parish of Caddo/Caddo Parish Commission will continue to monitor safety protocols as recommended by the CDC, and other federal, state and local authorities to ensure the best and most current safety measures are implemented to keep all citizens and Parish staff safe.
